Why does my Yahoo Homepage keep redirecting me to Yahoo search page?

Everytime I try to go the Yahoo Homepage it loads but then redirects me to Yahoo Search page. I've tried deleting my cookies and temp files but it's still doing it. The only way I can view the page is if I use the stop option on my browser, which stops the page from completely loading. This just now starting happening and it's only happening with the Yahoo Homepage I had the same problem and i unistalled the yahoo toolbar and i reinstalled again and my problem dissapeared....

How can I add a google search box to my site?

I don't want a custom search box, just a straight forward google search box which will search the entire web, not my website. The purpose of it is to act as a search box on the "startpage" of a custom browser i'm building. How to remove my searched topics from the Firefox start Google search box?
