How to check email address exists?

I want to know if there is a way to tell if an email address entered into a web form really exists or not. I do not want someone to be able to enter "fooledyou@youdumby.com" I have a script written in javascript which will verify the email address is in the correct format, but they can still enter something off the wall like above. How do I remove a saved email address from the facebook login page?

I logged into facebook with an email address and chose yes when Internet Explorer asked me if I wanted to save this address and password. Now I don't want that address saved in the list anymore but I don't want to wipe out every other email and password that's saved on facebook or everywhere else online. I'd like to create a anonymous group/anoymous mailing list. Currently people receiving emails from the group can see the senders email nick + email address. So in order to be anonymous people have to create new email addresses and assign this email to the group. This is cumbersome and (for a few individuals) a bit confusing.
